Obituary of Brenda L. Schultz
Brenda Lee Schultz, 73, Passed away peacefully on February 15, 2024 at Niagara Hospice. Brenda was born and raised in Wilson, NY to the late Leonard W. Schultz and the late Jennie C. Schultz (nee Van Hanehem). Brenda graduated from Wilson H. S. in 1967. Her natural interest and talent in photography took her to various studios where she worked also doing weddings and celebrations. In 1995 she started work at Tops Markets and for several of her 25 years there she was in charge of “Photo One” once again developing pictures as well as photographing personally using her experience and artistry. Brenda taught herself to play guitar with a natural ear for music. She wrote and recorded songs uplifting all who heard her beautiful voice and thoughtful words. Her record “On Eagles Wings” can still be found on the internet. Her Gospel Christian music inspired all who heard it. In 2004 she wrote and sang “My Mother and Her Bible” for her mother’s 90th birthday. There wasn’t a dry eye and it will be enjoyed for generations. Brenda always had an enduring faith and shared the instrument of her Christian beliefs with all who walked that journey with her. In the 1980’s Brenda joined a class for women with the Buffalo Bills to learn the basics of the NFL especially the Bills. She was definitely a fan! Brenda loved people, traveled many states touching and connecting with others on her life journey with her humor, intelligence, varied interest in art, music, photography, most of all her strong, courageous faith and engaging, loving personality.
Brenda is survived by sister Carol J. Faver (Lewis) of Abilene, TX, brother Eugene R. Schultz (Conrad) of Cape May N.J., sister Judith E. Whitehead (Russell) of Lockport, N.Y., sister Sharon E. Jagow (Dale) of Mint Hill N.C. and many nieces, nephews and friends she cherished. She was predeceased by brother Chester F. Schultz (Joyce Schultz), (Betty Schultz), brother Nelson L. Schultz (Mary Ann).
Private burial by Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Dombrowski of Grace Chapel at St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery. A “Celebration of Life” memorial at a later time to be determined. Brenda felt the blessings of her membership at Grace Chapel in Lockport as her earthly home. She has now ascended to her heavenly one.
