Richard A. Cain Obituary

Richard A. Cain passed away Monday February 12, 2024.  Born in Lockport on July 19, 1940, he was the son of the late George and Ruth Arlington Cain, step son of  the late Lloyd and Geraldine Beardsley.   Dick was the Co-owner of Niagara Fiberboard in Lockport.  He loved wintering Florida with his wife and going on vacations with his children and grandchildren, which became known as “Cain-Cation.”


He is survived by his wife of 60 years Susan (nee Bye) Cain; father of Scott (Megan) Cain, Mark (Joelle) Cain, Dennis (Joelle) Cain, Kevin (Krista) Cain and Michael (Aimee) Cain; grandfather of Brennon (Riddhi), Benjamin, Alexander, Mitchell, Joseph, Emma, Aidan, Sophia, Maximus and Grayson. 


Friends may call on Thursday 3-6 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday Feb 16th at 10 AM, at St John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport.  Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.  In Lieu of flowers memorials to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the family.  Online Condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
