Obituary of Caroline Anna Dye
Caroline Anna Dye passed away at Niagara Hospice House on Saturday February 10, 2024. Born in Tonawanda on December 5, 1930, she was the daughter of the late George and Barbara Gregoric Jancetic. Caroline was a member of St. Mary’s RC Church in Lockport where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, Christian Service. She also volunteered at the Sister Mary Loretto Soup Kitchen, and was a member of the Terry’s Corners Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed making jam, playing cards, reading and spending time with her family.
Caroline is predeceased by her husband Elmer (Dick) Dye, who passed away on June 17, 2017. She was the mother of Richard R. (Linda) Dye, Donna (David) Dye-Sholk, Debra Dye, Jonathan (Amy) Dye and Beth Dye. She is also survived by her grandchildren Arielle, Jessica, Bethaney, Nicholas, Jenna, Alexandra, Anna, MacKenzie, Joshua, Alexis and Megan; great grandmother of Timothy, Gianna, Holly, and baby- to- be Schneider; and several nieces and nephews. Caroline is predeceased by all her siblings. Caroline was a devoted Mom, Super Gram, adoring Great Gram, and loving aunt, sister, and friend. She will be missed every day.
Friends may call on Friday Feb. 16th 4-7 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday Feb. 17th at 10 AM at All Saints RC Parish, 76 Church Street, Lockport. Inurnment will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
