Obituary of Raymond L. Byrd

Raymond L. Byrd passed away January 16, 2024.  Born October 9, 1949 in Vero Beach, FL he was the son of the late Alto L. and Alberta (Bristol) Byrd, Jr.  He worked for Harrison Radiator Div of GM in production.  Ray enjoyed music, playing guitar, and was a Buffalo Bills fan.

Ray is survived by his siblings Kenny A. Byrd, Brenda A. Moultrie, Sylvia M. Byrd, Sharon L. (Barry) Bynes, Judy E. Byrd, Alto L. (Janet) Byrd III, Tyrone Curtis Byrd, Patricia F. (Karl) Lawrence, Alisa C. Byrd, Anita D. Byrd, and the late Edward E. Byrd and Paul E. Byrd; also several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Monday, Jan. 22^nd from 4-7 PM and Tuesday, Jan. 23^rd from 11 am-12 noon with services at 12 noon all in Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Funeral service will be live streamed on YouTube.  Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers donations to the Carroll Center For The Blind, 770 Centre St., Newton, MA 02458 or www.carroll.org and/or American Diabetes Association, Buffalo, NY Office, 315 Alberta Dr., Suite 102, Amherst, NY 14226 or www.diabetes.org would be appreciated by the family.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
