Obituary of Norine Agnes Koch
Norine A. Koch passed away on January 13, 2024, in Hospice Care at the Rosa Coplon Home in Getzville, NY. She was born March 19, 1931, in Buffalo, the daughter of Joseph and Minerva (Sherry) Hattinger. Norine worked at Buffalo State College as a laboratory technician in nutritional sciences. Norine actively volunteered with CYO, Girl Scouts, and Christian Mothers. She was an avid gardener, loved Jeeps and entertaining. She loved and was loved by her many friends and family.
She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Joseph F. Koch, Jr., on July 5, 2016, and by her brother, Donald Hattinger.
Norine is survived by her children Linda (Kevin) Bennett, Lorie Szalkowski, Leean Koch, and Kenneth (Paula) Koch; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial Mass to be celebrated on Friday, January 26 at 10:30am at Good Shepherd RC Church, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Road, Pendleton.
