Obituary of Geraldine M. DeAngelo
Geraldine M. "Gerry" DeAngelo passed away January 6 2024 in Mercy Hospital in Buffalo. Born April 17, 1942 she was the daughter of the late John V. and Genevieve (Blonkowski) Kowalski. Gerry graduated from St. Josephs Academy, DeSales High school, and Bryant and Stratton School of Business with a degree in both business and horticulture and design. She worked for Interstate Pallet in Lockport where she was in the accounts payable department. Gerry was predeceased by her husband Peter A. DeAngelo on March 10, 2008.
Gerry is survived by her four daughters Lisa (Frank) Thilkey, Michelle (David) Ferrazzi, Veronica (late David) Compton, and Amy (late Wesley) Walker; grandchildren Bliss (Jerod) Thurber, Joelle (Michael) Maloney, Ambrose and Harrison Compton, Wesley Jr. and Daniel Walker; great grandchildren Ozro and Zinnia Thurber, and Mila Maloney; three brothers John (Paula) Kowalski, James (Rosemary) Kowalski, and Joseph Kowalski; also several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.
