Obituary of Mary Ann Holmes

Mary Ann Holmes passed away on Monday December 25^th, 2023.  Born in Cheektowaga on August 10, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Valerya Wojtchzak Wypych.  Mary Ann retired from United Airlines, where she worked at the ticket counter, after she retired she at Long Street Elementary in Daytona Beach, FL., as a teachers aid. She enjoyed doing Sudoku puzzles, watching movies and spending time with her family.  She was predeceased by her husband Robert Holmes, who passed away November 30, 2004.

Mary Ann was the mother of Clifford (Teri) Holmes, Michael (Tina) Holmes, Christopher (Krista) Holmes and the late Ross (late Barb) Holmes, Jody (late Bucky) Sossong and Bonnie (late Dan) Mack.  She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Mary Ann was the sister of the late Leonard (Pat) Wypych, Alice (Albert) Olsen and Jeannette (Walter) Susko.  She is survived by several nieces, nephews and her beloved dog Chase.

Friends may call on Thursday Dec. 28^th 3-6 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where services will immediately follow at 6 PM.  Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.  Online Condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
