Obituary of Barbara J. Redding

Please share a memory of Barbara to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Barbara passed into eternity on December 5th while at Buffalo General Hospital. She was born to Henry and Jean Klatt on June 8th 1942 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Barbara moved to Lockport in 1968 where she raised her six children. She worked as a server at Cafora’s Italian Restaurant for many years before retiring. She enjoyed planting flowers in the springtime, traveling, taking care of her siamese cats, and playing Scrabble with her sister.

Barb’s favorite song was “Don’t Stop Believin’ ” by Journey and we believe without a shadow of a doubt that she knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and she now resides with Him in Heaven. She attended St. John’s Church in Lockport.

She is survived by her children Deb (Allen) Spinner, Dana (Pete) Siracuse, and Keith (Christina) Redding. Barbara was preceded in death by three of her sons, David Redding, Alan Redding, and Thomas Redding. Barbara is one of six siblings, Henry, James, Norman, Elaine, and Janet. She is a grandmother to ten and a great grandmother to eighteen.

She will be greatly missed! A private Celebration of Life will be held by her family. Love you Mom
