Obituary of Barbara J. Crowe Palmer
Barbara Crowe Palmer, 96 of Lockport, passed away peacefully in Hospice House after a brief illness. Barbara was born on November 22,1927 to Donald and Leontine (Bordwell) Prentice. Barbara worked for the Lockport City School District where she was a secretary.
Barbara is survived by her son Douglas (Susan) Crowe and step son Rhodes C (Cheryl)Palmer. Also survived by grandchildren Jessica (Asher) Ballew, Michael Crowe, and great grandchildren Eden, Everly, Emerson Ballew, as well as step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Barbara was predeceased by husbands Michael J Crowe, and C Rhodes Palmer, as well as son Thomas Crowe, daughter Diane Crowe, and step children Lee, Peter, and Jane Palmer.
Barbara enjoyed traveling and time spent in Hilton Head Island. Barbara looked forward to her weekly card games with friends She was an avid Yankee fan as well as follower of Duke basketball.
Services will be held at a later date at the convenience the family. Memorials may be made To Hospice House or the charity of one’s choice.
