Obituary of Helen A. Seekins
Helen Ann Seekins passed away October 31, 2023 in Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. Born in Batavia, NY June 18, 1949 to the late Ethel M. Knickerbocker and Stanley Halladay. Helen loved spending time with her family, playing cards, listening to music, and sitting on the porch “people watching” as she called it. She was predeceased by both parents and siblings Twila Thomas, Dorothy Waters, Villa Seefeldt, Willard Howes, and Patsy Shablom.
Helen is survived by her brother Stanley Halladay, Jr.; children Paul (Tammy) Halladay, Paula (Cornelius) Halladay-Travis, Steven Seekins, Tommie (Brandi) Brown, Jr., Dawn Byrd, Theresa Shivers, and Christopher Shivers, Sr.; also several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, Nov. 4th from 11 AM – 12 Noon with services at 12 Noon all at Christ Community Church, 140 Genesee St., Lockport. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
