Obituary of Sheila M. Dean

Sheila M. Dean passed away October 18, 2023 in Parma, Ohio.  Born January 19, 1942 in Buffalo, N.Y. she was the daughter of Chester H. and Helen B. (Bowers) Phillips.  Sheila worked for RGIS and Fotomat, and she assisted with various fund raising efforts, but her life passion was to be a mother and a housewife.  Her children agreed she was the best mom a child could ever want.  She loved camping, crafting, playing games, watching mystery shows, traveling and spending time with family and friends.  She also enjoyed shopping and finding the perfect gift.  She was predeceased by her husband Donald R. Dean on October 6, 2022 and by her daughter Deborah Dean.

 

Sheila is survived by her children Christopher (Carolyn) Dean, Daniel H. (Darlene) Dean, Jeffrey J. (Julie) Dean, and Jonathon C. Dean; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

 

Relatives and friends may call Sunday, Oct. 29th from 1-4 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 30th at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport, NY.  Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.  Flowers are declined.  Donations to St. Jude Children‘s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 31805 or at www.st.jude.org would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
