Obituary of Christina Anderson
Christina “Sheila” Kavanagh Anderson passed away October 22, 2023 in Beechwood Homes, Amherst. Born February 26, 1936 in Cork, Ireland she was the daughter of Thomas and Julia (Coakley) Kavanagh. Christina enjoyed playing BINGO, going to the casino, and especially loved spending time with her family.
Christina is survived by her husband of 60 years, Thomas Anderson; children Thomas C. (Martha) Anderson of Clarence, Kenneth (Kristin) Anderson of Lockport, Patricia Anderson-Haley of North Tonawanda, and Julie (Chris) Carrasquillo of Buffalo; grandchildren Kenneth (April) Anderson, Shannon (Don) Fending, Hannah, Thomas, Matthew, Sarah Anderson, Morgan Haley, Rachel (Matt) Haley-Rude; Erin Haley, Samantha Haley, and Christina Carrasquillo; great grandchildren Hank and George Anderson, Damien, Julia, and Charlie Carrasquillo, and Aubrey Rude.
Private services will be held at convenience of the family.
