Obituary of John J. Switala Jr.
John J. Switala, Jr. passed away October 16, 2023, in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born September 29, 1953 in Niagara Falls, he was the son of John J. and Rose (Coleman) Switala Sr. John worked in production at Simonds Saw & Steel in Lockport. He enjoyed listening to music, watching baseball and football, classic cars, and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.
John is survived by his daughter Ashley (Brandon) Preisch; granddaughters Lorelei and Emilie Preisch; siblings William “Bill” (Wanda) Switala and Richard “Rick” (Terri) Switala; also many beloved nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents John is also predeceased by his other siblings, Larry (late Hermance) Switala, late Rose Ann (James) Martin, late Carol (James) Witkop, and Patricia Coleman.
