Obituary of Rita Lavery

Rita Irene Lavery passed away Friday June 24, 2011 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane, NY. Born August 19, 1928 in Marlborough, MA., she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Loraine Belmore LeBreton. Rita was a member of the Newfane Conservation Club, she enjoyed Archery and the was the New York State Champion in 1968. She also was a accomplished pianist, enjoyed bowling, BINGO, animals, fishing, gardening and anything having to do with the outdoors.
Rita is survived by her husband of 59 years, William Lavery. She was the mother of Patricia DeLine of Appleton, Valerie Lavery of Wilson and Amy (David) Lavery-Bell of Wilson. Rita was the grandmother of Joshua DeLine of NE, Alexis Call, Mason Call and Vayda Kiekbush all of Wilson. She is also survived by her sister Anne Marie (Carl) Weaver of Swansea, MA., and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call Tuesday evening 7 to 9 PM and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where prayers will be offered Thursday morning ay 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in, St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 391 Market Street, Lockport.
