Although we never met I was originally from Lockport and hung out at Lancaster Speedway back in the day and was a big fan of the Lazy 8.

Ross was always there for me at work. He was always there for me when I needed anything. I miss how we would always joke around. While working we would listen to Tradio on WLVL everyday and then 97 Rock in the afternoon. I missed him when he left and enjoyed seeing him when he would drop in to visit. I'm really sad that he's gone. He was a great guy and will be greatly missed.

A wonderful man. Heartbroken with the loss of his wife, he persevered with support from his friends and amazing daughters. He was a racing advocate and involved in every way. With daughter Michelle, he traveled to many ROC races and continued with unparalleled knowledge and enthusiasm through most of the 2023 season.
As a racer, he mastered the Mini Stock series at Lancaster, then on to the street stock / late models with a super fast GTO. When he ‘graduated’ to the Modifieds, he was fast on dirt and asphalt.
His racing built forever relationships which will be cherished by many who will now miss his knowledge, friendship, and wonderful spirit. We will all miss him dearly.
God speed my friend.

Ross was a great and fierce competitor and also one of the nicest guys in racing. I will always have great memories of pitting next to him at Lancaster Speedway in our modifieds. We even took our race cars to Our Lady Help of Christians School in Cheektowaga for the students, teachers and the priest to see and sit in a real race car. RIP Ross, you will be missed.
