Obituary of William C. Muscato

William C. Muscato passed away October 7, 2023 in Buffalo General Medical Center.  Born December 30,1942 in Buffalo he was the son of Angelo and Wilma (Jackson) Muscato.  William served in the US Navy from 1962-1964 and worked as a machinist for Vibratech in Alden, NY for 36 years, retiring in 1998.  He enjoyed watching and playing football; playing for both the Lackawanna Lancers and Lockport Travelers.  William was also scouted by the Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and Oakland Raiders.  He also enjoyed coin collecting and was a history buff.

William is survived by his wife of 50 years Leona (Sciuto) Muscato; children John Muscato and Angela (Kyle) Neal; granddaughters Leah and Kylie Neal; brother Vincent Muscato and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his other siblings James, Joseph, Phillip, Samuel, and Anita Muscato.

Relatives and friends may call Saturday, Oct. 14th from 1-3 PM with services following at 3 PM all at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  In lieu of flowers donations to WNY Heroes, Pawsitive for Heroes, or Alzheimer’s Association of WNY would be appreciated by the family.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
