Laura M. Acker passed away June 24, 2011 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born October 4, 1959, on the Sixth Nation Reservation, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Sarah Garlow LaForme. Laura loved spending time with her family. She was the wife of Michael W. Acker of Lockport; sister of Albert Jr. (Genny) LaForme of South Carolina, Charles LaForme of Rochester, NY, Sandra Bowler of Lockport and Ella (Wayne) Reinbolt of Newfane. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday 11 to 1 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St. Lockport, NY where services will follow immediately at 1 o'clock
