Obituary of Theodore Wagner
Theodore “Ted” M. Wagner passed away September 26, 2023 surrounded by his loving family under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born December 8, 1940 in Honolulu, Hawaii he was the son of Stance and Mary June (Cunningham) Wagner. Ted served in the US navy from 1959-1961 and worked for Harrison Radiator Div of GM in Lockport for 40 years where he was a serviceman. He was a member of All Saints Parish in Lockport and taught church school for several years at St. Joseph’s RC Church. Ted enjoyed golfing, traveling, working on home projects, and especially loved spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary Ann (Culver) Wagner, daughter Ann Wagner, son Theodore S. Wagner, and granddaughter Melinda Wagner.
Ted is survived by his children Regina (Tom) Edbauer and Eric Wagner; daughter-in-law Tammy Wagner; grandchildren Andrew (Kimberlyn), Lauren (Alex Weaver), Alyssa Edbauer, Adam (Brenda), Anthony, Austin Wagner, and Kaci (Joe Guagliardo) Szczygiel; great grandchildren Olivia Dunkelberger and Carter Naylor; sister Cheryl (Don) Stevenson; dear friend Carl Raetz; caregiver Charlene; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, Oct. 2nd from 4-7 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Oct. 3rd at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
