Obituary of Betty J. Neden

Betty J. Neden passed away August 15, 2023 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.  Born May 25, 1929 in Lockport she was the daughter of Benjamin W. and Eleanor (Franz) Wilson.  Betty was the Secretary/Treasurer for 45 years at her husband’s business, JC Neden & Sons in Lockport.  She enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills, knitting, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.  Betty was a member of the First Presbyterian Church  and also Thurley Modern Mrs.  She was predeceased by her husband John C. Neden Sr. on January 20, 2000. 

Betty is survived by her children John C. Neden, Jr., James B. Neden, Joseph Neden, and Janet LaMancuso; grandchildren Joseph Neden, Jr., Jeri Lynn Neden, Jason Neden, Melissa Parker, John Neden, III, Joel Neden, Justin Neden, Jackie LaMancuso, Jenny LaMancuso and Juliet LaMancuso; great granddaughter Alexis Parker; great-great granddaughter Aria Parker; sisters Linda Lipscomb; also several nieces and nephews.  Besides her husband Betty was also predeceased by her siblings Lyman (Colletta) Wilson, Benjamin (Joan) Wilson, Norma James, and Margaret Moran 

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, Aug. 17^th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 18^th at 11 AM.  Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
