Henry T. "Hank" Abie entered into rest on Wednesday morning, June 15, 2011 at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio after a long illness. He worked for Varcum Chemical as a Chemist in Niagara Falls, retiring in 1986 due to health reasons. Hank enjoyed and loved being with his family. He also enjoyed cars and local car shows, playing cards, music concerts and dancing, singing and the warmth of summer. Hank was the only child of the late Lloyd and Mary (Moceri) Abie of Niagara Falls, NY and also beloved Aunt Ann Hiller of Niagara Falls, NY. Hank is survived by his wife of 39 years Rebecca Ann Heiman and sons Jason A., Bryan T. of Lockport and Corey T. (Nikky) of Long Beach, Ca. Loving cousins Tina Abie and Rose Marie Pyra both of Niagara Falls, Margurite Naab of Cambria and Denise Bodet of Las Vegas, NV and many loving sisters and brother in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. There will be no prior visitation. Friends are invited to a Memorial Service, Thursday morning at 10 AM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.
