Evelyn Mary Walker, affectionately known as “Tootie”, passed away Friday August 4, 2023 at Niagara Hospice House.  Born in Lockport on August 12, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Blaine Steele and Mary Lou Lilley.  Evelyn worked as an LPN for Kimberly Quality Care and several other places in Lockport. She enjoyed going to BINGO, the casino and especially loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Timothy Walker; mother of Timothy Walker Jr., James Walker and Mary Lou (Bill) Walker; grandmother of eight and sister of Marianne (Jeff) Routley.  Evelyn is also survived by her good friend, Susan Melcher and several nieces and nephews.
