I met Dan at a job we shared. I thought he had a cool name so I went to find him. 3 days later we were on a motorcycle trip across the state to check out a haunted institution. And then another trip to Brooklyn on the bikes to visit my brother. I'll always have our matching tattoo on my had as a reminder of the adventures we shared. Miss you bud.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dan and I grew up together as teenagers. I have the best memories of going to concerts with all of our friends or hanging out weekends at the mall together. I am forever proud to call Dan my friend. I moved away but Dan would always check in from time to time and send me motivating - positive & supportive messages that really meant a lot to me. Dan is a brother to me. When he believes in something, he is stubbornly uncompromising, yet he has an amazing understanding of others. He will do anything in his ability for a friend, which I and others have seen many times.

I am having such a hard time putting into words what Dan meant to me. Almost Every great memory I have between the ages of 11-22 included you. You were my best friend, my brother, my protector, and the person who could make me laugh at any given moment. From sneaking out of our windows in leisure acres, smoking our first cigarette together, roller blading through Lockport, bridge jumping, driving around being idiots, to being grown ups and taking on real life, No matter where life took us then, who came into our lives, it was always our small group at the core. We lost touch and got back in touch so many times but it never mattered because we were connected by experiences no one else could share. I will miss you forever and I will always cherish our shenanigans. My heart and prayers are with all of your family and friends.

My husband and I were in France when we learned of Danny's death. We lit a candle at the church of Saint Martin in Saint Remy de Provence to pray for peace for him and his family .
Unfortunately, we never met him but do know him from the many stories of his mother's love for him and all that he did for her. He will not be forgotten and will live on in many hearts.

I met Danny when he was still on high school. I am a friend of his Moms. He was always very polite and quick to smile as well as making everyone smile around him. He was a very kind and caring son, brother, uncle and boyfriend. He never shyed away from a challenge or an adventure. He was passionate and and very hard working. What I remember most is how proud his Mother was of everything he achieved and the man he grew up to be. My heart goes out to the family. My deepest condolences. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
