Obituary of Gertrude Tuttle

Gertrude D. Tuttle, 100, passed away June 15, 2011 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born December 30, 1910 in Olcott she was the daughter of Henry and Mary (nee Sahr) Steolzenberg. Gertrude worked for Lock Felt Company where she was a burler. Gertrude was a member of the Queen Circle at Second Presbyterian Church as well as the Mason's. She was predeceased by her husband Levant A. Tuttle on February 28, 1991. Gertrude is survived by her sons LeVern Tuttle of Newfane, Roy (Rosanna) Tuttle of Lockport and the late Donald Tuttle; grandmother of five, great grandmother of three; sister of the late Max Stolzenberg; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 AM. Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery.
