Obituary of Carol A. Davin
Born to the late Carl and Elizabeth (Ryan) MacDonald on November 30, 1936. Her beloved “Billy” and the good Lord came to take her home on July 18, 2023. Carol was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy and Business School and went to work for Dickenson Insurance Agency retiring after 47 years. She always said “I don’t need you to put my likes in my obit! Anyone who knew me, knew what I liked!”
Carol is survived by her siblings Katherine (late John) Lange, Dennis (Roberta) MacDonald, Rita (Thomas) Heary; many nieces and nephews and greats. She was predeceased by her husband William Davin, siblings Charles (late Betty) MacDonald, Helen (late John) Coleman, and Robert MacDonald. Also surviving are sisters-in-law Dawn MacDonald and Ava (late John) Davin.
No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 26th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport, where Carol attended daily Mass for many years. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the church or to hospice would be appreciated by the family. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
