Obituary of William H. Earl Jr.

William Henry Earl, Jr. entered into rest on July 17, 2023, with his family by his side. Bill was born on November 5, 1945, in Lockport, NY, the son of William Henry Earl, Sr. and Marjorie Kohankie Earl.

Bill is survived by his children Katherine (Matthew) Beakman, Elizabeth Earl, William Henry (Leidy) Earl, III.; grandchildren Henry and William Beakman; his sister Marcia Moss; nieces Susan (Peter) Ruh, Elizabeth (Mic Wallace) Moss and nephew Lawrence Moss, Jr. and several cousins.

Bill attended DeVeaux School in Niagara Falls, NY, and then attended Parsons College, in Fairfield, IA.  After graduating he spent a memorable time in Chicago before returning home to Lockport, NY.  He worked at Corson Manufacturing in Lockport as Director of Human Resources.  He was an avid collector of antiques and sports memorabilia.  He loved the calming Canadian air in Algonquin Provincial Park, where he spent many summers.  Bill was known for his quick wit, lending ear, and thoughtful advice.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, July 23, 2023, from 2-4 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023, at 10 AM.
