David was the best person, grandfather and father in law and partner to my mother in law. He will be greatly missed, there are so many memories to share, but he did see me and his step son get married and got to watch his last big boom of fire works in the southern tier and that’s what he wanted to do. We love him so very much ❤️

To Liz, David’s children and all of the Smallman siblings. With David’s passing this world lost a true gem! A kindhearted, loving and generous man who left behind beautiful memories of his life. As his brother-in-law for many years, starting when he was just 3 years old, he was always total joy to be around.

I am his granddaughter ella. We were at the Chinese restaurant and he found a heart shaped chicken in his meal. It was so great to have him as my grandpa.I know he is still watching over me and my family.
