Jeffrey T. Smith passed away June 25, 2023 under the care of Niagara Hospice and his loving family.  Born August 19, 1967 in Lockport he was the son of Donald Smith and Martha (Webster) Smith Niethe.  Jeffrey served in the US Army from 1985 to 1988 being awarded the Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Expert Marksmanship Badge Pistol and Expert Marksmanship Badge Grenade.  He worked for Mandon Building Systems in Lancaster where he was a carpenter.  Jeffrey built the home they lived in and enjoyed woodworking and spending time with family and friends.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife of 23 years Michelle (Christie) Smith; furry companion Lily; siblings Keith (Vicki) Smith, Lori Smith Christie, and Douglas (Darla) Smith; mother-in-law Gloria (late David) Christie; in-laws Julie (David) Austin and Scott Christie; also several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, June 29th from 3-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Friday, June 30th at 10 AM.  Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.  Donations to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
