Obituary of Joyce Hass
Joyce Hass passed away May 16, 2023 in Elderwood at Lockport. Born September 15, 1936 in Lockport she was the daughter of George and Edith (Manning) Humphrey. In her younger years Joyce was very active in the Wrights Corners Ladies Auxiliary and 4-H being a Leader and recipient of the Grace Herr Award. She loved animals and enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Norman Hass and a son George Hass.
Joyce is survived by her children Howard Hass, Ellen (Bill Langton) Embury, Brenda (Bart) Bartholomew, Donna (Pat) Legg, Connie (Curtis) Davis, Annette Grazanio, and Fay (Scott) Palmateer; sixteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; sister Linda Schweichler, and sister-in-laws Phyllis MacKay and Marie Kempton.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, May 24th from 2-5 PM with services at 5 PM all in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
