Obituary of Juan Ramon Ubiles II

Juan Ramon Ubiles II passed away on Saturday May 13, 2023 in Lackawanna, NY.  Born in Lockport on December 26, 1971 he was the son of Joyce (Solomon) Dunn Bradley of Lockport, NY and Juan Ramon Ubiles of Humacao, Puerto Rico.  Juan was a combat Veteran in the US Army, serving from 1990-1998 and reenlisted 2000-2012.  In his second term of service, he was deployed to Iraq and to Afghanistan.  While in the military, Juan earned several medals and awards which included the Meritorious Service medal.   He retired from the Army in 2012 at the rank of Staff Sergeant.  He was a member of the Wounded Warrior Project and loved building model cars, his dogs, hockey but most importantly spending time with his family.

Beside his parents, Juan is survived by his Fiance of 10 years, Nichole Gechell, his daughter Mia Daphene Ubiles; step children Ronald Shane Jr.(Chelsea), Brandon Shane (Jessica), Leah Gechell and William Gechell III; grandfather of Ryland Ubiles and April Shane.  He was the brother of Jennifer (Roderick) Peoples, Jade Bradley, Desirae Ubiles, Johannah Ubiles and the late Juleen Velazquez.
