Dear Michael, Daniel and Shannon,
We just learned of your Mother's passing. So sorry to not have heard sooner, and we offer our belated condolences. I, Laurene (Mitzi) remember Aunt Rosemary as kind and caring, especially after our Mom, Gladys, died 34 years ago. Please accept our sincere sympathy on this great loss of yours (and ours). Love, Laurene (Woodworth) and Karl Nickel

So sorry for your Family's loss and that I was unable to be at the church service. Rosemary was a lovely lady and will be missed. My Mother and Father really enjoyed their visits and get togethers with the family as we all did. My thought and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Thinking of Rosemary and her family today, and how lucky I was to spend time with her, on and off over so many years. My sister, Mary, mentioned she remembered Rosemary (we called her "Rosie" as children) took care of her while our Mom was in the hospital having me - nearly 72 years ago! So many wonderful memories, respect for how she managed through hard times, and delight in her easy laugh. Funny which memories pop - the Thanksgiving with a GIANT turkey that barely fit in the oven, checking the meter to see if more energy was used to warm up coffee in the microwave or on the stove, fiercely private but loved to be-in-the-know about others, energetic, practical, kind, kind, kind.
A born teacher - there wasn't a puppy who couldn't "sit", or a child who didn't know which President is on which bill, within ten minutes (I used to pretend to forget, although I bet she knew that!). Thank you, dear Rosemary. As I signed off each phone call and visit, "Love you", secure in her response - "I love you, too".

The phrase "one of a kind" applies to no one more than my beloved godmother, Rosemary. Loyal, funny, loving mother and grandmother, kind, independent, proud of her Irish background, devout Catholic, patient teacher, animal lover, endlessly curious with a fantastic laugh, and unique in so many wonderful ways! She was, and will always be, deeply loved and appreciated by all lucky enough to have her in our lives.

Our deepest sympathy to your family from ours. She was such a wonderful part of our family and I've missed her not being in Florida and was looking forward to seeing her in June. I will cherish our adventures - if the car was moving she was in it!
