Norma J. Confer passed away May 25, 2011 in Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo. Born December 6, 1945 in Lockport she was the daughter of the late Carl E. and Alma E. (nee Metcalf) Confer. Norma graduated from Royalton-Hartland High School Class of 1964 and went on to earn her associates in Business Administration from Niagara County Community College in 1981. Norma was a waitress for a short time for various local restaurants before working for Niagara County where she was an accounting clerk from 1977 to 2009. Norma enjoyed traveling and was an active volunteer with the Olcott Carousel Park. Besides her parents Norma is predeceased by her brother Donald C. and Clifford E. Confer. She is survived by her dog China and two cats, several nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Relatives and friends may call Thursday 2-8 PM in Prudden &amp; Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM. Donations to the Niagara County SPCA or to Save-A-Pet would be appreciated. <h3>Visitation</h3> Relatives and friends may call Thursday 2-8 PM. <h3>Services</h3> Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM at the funeral home.
