Obituary of Kathleen Ann DeCesare
Kathleen A. DeCesare passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Born in Lockport, NY on February 28, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Newman and Madeline Carducci. Kathy worked for most of her life from being a Lunch Monitor at Charlotte Cross School, to 25 years at Kitchen World, and finally in her retirement years working at All Saints Parish. She enjoyed spending time with family, lunch outings with her friends, and trips to the casino. She was a devout member of St. Anthony’s Parish and All Saints Parish.
Kathleen is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Bill, her daughter Teresa Lynn (Jim) Sipowicz, two grandchildren she just adored, Anthony and Madeline, a sister Joyce (Roy) Laubacker, a dear friend, Timothy Paul; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Robert (Vivian) Newman, Joseph (Mary) Newman, and a sister-in-law Ann Marie DeCesare.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial mass Saturday, May 20th at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport. Memorials may be made in Kathleen’s name to DeSales Catholic School. Visit www.pruddenandkandt.com.
