Obituary of Ernest L. Jackson
Ernest Jackson was born on January 1st , 1936, departed this life peacefully on February 20th, 2023. He was born in Ocala, Florida to Fred Hampton-Jackson and Annie Mae McClain-Jackson. With a little help from his beloved Uncle Charlie McClain Sr., Ernest came to Lockport, NY in 1968. In 1977 Ernest would meet the Love of his Life, Ms. Charlie Mae Riley in Medina, NY. Ernest and Charlie Mae were happily in love for over 46 years.
Ernest worked for Newfane Lumber, Miller's Alloy and eventually Harrison's Radiators from which he retired after 28 years of service in 1996. He was a dedicated member of the Model T, and the UAW. He loved his family with every fiber in his being. He enjoyed traveling to Florida. Watching his grandsons play football. Trash talking the Buffalo Bills as he was a True Florida Gator. He had a Real Love for a good cocktail suited with a little sarcasm. He loved James Brown's music and just a good time with good people.
Ernest leaves to mourn his beloved Charlie Mae Riley, his daughters Evelyn (Ahmad) Greene (Niagara Falls, NY), Tangynita Jackson, Teresa Jackson - Smith and his son Norman Jackson (Lakeland, FL).
