Obituary of Robert Covell

Robert Covell passed away February 19, 2023. He was born on February 17, 1935 in Lockport, NY a son of Kenneth and Ruth (Foster) Covell.

Robert worked as a paint specialist for over 40 years at MeCorney’s Decorating Center. He was past president of the Eagles and Moose Clubs and a member of the Navy/Marine and American Legion. Robert enjoed fishing, hunting, watching sports especially the Buffalo Bills and the Detroit Tigers.

Robert was predeceased by his two wives Maybelle (Wills) and Erma (Spencer) Covell, daughters Jacquelyn Ritz, Melody James, step son Arthur Wagner. He is survived by his beloved step children Edythe (late Jeffery) Whitmore, Austin Wagner, Timothy James, Thomas Spencer, Irma Wagner, Matthew Faux; siblings Charles (June) Covell, Jack (Carol) Covell, Dennis (Kathleen) Covell, Nancy (late Louis) Mattiuzzo; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday February 22, 2023 from 4-7 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home 242 Genesee Street Lockport, NY where a funeral service will be held on Thursday February 23, 2023 at 10 AM.
