Eddie was a special person, and he loved his family so much. At our 50th Class Reunion, Ed and I discussed past and present: high school, wrestling team with Kelk, his brother Tommy, his mom, his children, and especially his wife, Renee. He adored Renee. My heart ached for his family when I saw that Eddie suddenly passed away. He was truly loved by all who knew him. Eddie will always have a special place in my heart. Plus, he loved his motorcycles and cars.

Renee and family,
I just got a call from Steve O'Mara, and I'm devastated. Eddie was a good friend, and I will miss him quite a lot. I haven't seen him much in a year or so, but when we did get together, it was as if we saw each other daily. He was so genuine and treated me and everyone with respect and like a brother. It was Ed who inspired me to do music at Fig Tree Fellowship after Mass at my own parish, so his influence can still be felt by people there. He was open about his love of Jesus, and his care for people. Ed is a special friend, and I value that and will never forget him. I miss him already and will always love him.

I am so sorry to have just read this. I was just talking the other day about the beautiful color gowns we wore as bridesmaids for your wedding. This leaves me speechless. To lose a spouse after so many years together, nothing will ever be the same. I miss John every day.
