Alma L. Meiklejohn passed away February 1, 2023 in Elderwood at Lockport.  Born September 13, 1922 in Hartland, NY she was the daughter of Alfred and Hazel Alvord.  Alma enjoyed reading, playing cards, and bowling.  She was predeceased by her husband, James Meiklejohn in 2000 and daughter Patricia (late Gary) Few in 2022.

Alma is survived by her daughter Darlene (Paul) Seib; grandchildren Kevin (Cindy) Few, James (Renee) Few, Melissa (Jean-Claude) Bernaer, and Kimberly (Michael) Pilarsky; great grandchildren Brittany, Brandon, Megan, and Kyle (Kailey) Few, Jenna Bernaer, and Jordan and McKenzie Pilarsky; great-great grandchildren Shay Few and Kenzly Few; also several nieces and nephews.  Besides her husband and daughter she was also predeceased by her siblings, Edward “Bud” Alvord, Marion Bartholomew, Delores Serusa, and Norma Balon.

Relatives and friends may call Saturday, February 4th from 11 AM – 1 PM with services following at 1 PM all in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.  Memorial donations to Christ Episcopal Church, 7145 Fieldcrest Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
