John H. Beauman Sr. passed away December 31, 2022 in Buffalo General Medical Center.  Born March 7, 1951 in Lockport he was the son of Wilbert “Red” and Mary (Rosemellia) Beauman.  John worked for his father who ran “Red’s Towing”, until he took over the business 1984 and added Beauman’s Garage to the name.  He was a member of the Empire State Towing & Recovery Association where he served as both president and vice president.  He enjoyed attending towing industry trade shows as well as older cars and tow trucks.

John is survived by his wife, Linda (Wheeler) Beauman; children John (Roxanne) Beauman, Stacy Beauman, and Brian Beauman; grandchildren Alyssa Beauman, Shianne Beauman, Anthony Beauman, and Violet Barnes; sister Helenclair (Bryan) Barish.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, January 6th from 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday, January 7th at 10 AM.  Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations to the International Towing Museum https://internationaltowingmuseum.org/donate/  would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
