Obituary of Joan Barnes
Joan M. Barnes passed away January 1, 2023 in Eastern Niagara Hospital. Born November 6, 1955 in Buffalo she was the daughter of Norman and Jacqueline (Pring) Furman. Joan worked for Ransomville Manor where she was a dietary aide. She enjoyed camping, baking, and reading.
Joan is survived by her husband Paul Barnes; son Jeremy Barnes; sisters Jacqueline (late Norman) Shrauger and Janice (late Jack) Miller; nieces and nephews Steven Pedley, Jennifer (Richard) Schmidt, Ryan Shrauger, Todd (Destiny) Shrauger, Gretchen (Paul) Zaffran, Scott Furman; great nieces and nephews Ryan (Amber) Hewitt, Andrew Schmidt, Emily Schmidt, Jessica Schmidt, Maya Zaffran, Ben Zaffran, and Luke Zaffran. She was predeceased by her brother William Furman and nephew Adam Furman.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, January 7th from 1-3 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
