Obituary of Richard D. Moore
Richard “Rich” D. Moore passed away December 28, 2022 in the Buffalo VA Hospital of WNY. Born October 11, 1951 in Buffalo, NY he was the son of Charles and Joan (Quaintance) Moore. Rich served in the US Navy from 1970 to 1974 being awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He worked for Johnson Realty in Statesville, NC in the maintenance department. Rich enjoyed woodworking, being outdoors, and most important to Rich he celebrated on January 27th his 24th year of sobriety.
Rich is survived by his nieces and nephews Lisa (Adam) Conlan, Jeanna (Allan) Kieffer, Charles (Martina) Moore, Michael Moore, and Shannon (Al) Pearson, Todd Eggert, Wade Eggert, April (Carl) Huntington. He is also survived by several great and great-great nieces and nephews. Rich was predeceased by his siblings Charles, George, Kathy, Becky, and Barbara.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, January 4th from 2-6 PM with services following at 6 PM all in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
