Obituary of Nancy J. Coons
Nancy J. Coons passed away December 13, 2022 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born June 28, 1937 in Malone, NY she was the daughter of Sidney and Margaret (Ford) Jones. Nancy earned her bachelors degree and worked for Lockport Memorial Hospital where she was a registered nurse, for 31 years retiring in December of 1998. She was predeceased by her husband Donald Coons on July 25, 2015.
Nancy is survived by her daughter Lynne (Richard) Lugo; grandchildren Alexandra (Matt) Dzurishin and Richard Lugo; siblings Malcolm (Sharon) Jones and late Marie (Richard) Dunn; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday, December 18th from 1-4 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Funeral services will held Monday, December 19th at 11 AM in Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 75 East Ave., Lockport. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
