Obituary of Leslie H. Mitton

Leslie Mitton passed away December 11, 2022 under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born June 13, 1953 in Medina he was the son of Walter R. and Ethel (Harris) Mitton, Sr.  Leslie worked for Whiting Door in Akron, NY where he was an electrician retiring in 2019.  Prior to that he was working for Emil Von Dungen from 1973 to 1989.  He was a member of the Wrights Corners Volunteer Fire Co. for 25 years.  Leslie also owned Mitton’s Cakes & Cookies, enjoyed spending time with his family and also enjoyed being a fireman, fire police, and EMT.

Leslie is survived by his wife Mary (Little) Mitton; children Tammy (Richard) Dodge, Colleen (Robert Marullo) Duchow, and Jackie Clute; grandchildren James Tremblay, Elizabeth Dodge, Richard Dodge, III, Leslie Clute, and Jennifer Duchow; also several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his siblings.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, Dec. 15th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 16th at 11 AM.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Wrights Corners Volunteer Fire Co. or Niagara Hospice would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
