Obituary of J. Allen Richards, Jr.

J. Allen Richards, Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 10, 2022. He was born on December 15, 1932 in Harrisburg, PA, a son of J. Allen and Ruth (Moyer) Richards. J. Allen was a Purchasing Agent with Harrison Radiator. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force from 1954-1958. Following retirement from Harrison Radiator J. Allen went on to sell cars with Heinrich Chevrolet, Mike Smith Buick, and Ki-Po motors for another 25 years. J. Allen was a member of the Niagara County Sheriff Mounted Patrol Division where he loved to ride his horse Skip-A-Webb. He owned and operated Caballada Ranch for 30 years and was a proud father of his eight children. 

J. Allen was predeceased by his son Donald Richards. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Donna Rae (Warner) Richards; children Deborah Strassel, Tanya (David) Miles, Allen (Kimberly Birjukow-Richards), Jennifer Lichtenthal, Christopher Richards, Joelle (Claudiu) Retean, Jason (Melinda) Richards, eleven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Thursday Dec. 15th at 11 AM in Christ Episcopal Church 7145 Fieldcrest Drive Lockport. Interment in Cold Spring Cemetery.  Online Condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
