Obituary of Rose Ruggeri

Rose M. Ruggeri passed away May 4, 2011 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born December 9, 1931 in Lockport she was the daughter of Sam and Bertha (Maiorana) Ruggeri. Rose was a nun in the Third Order of St. Francis where she took the name Sister Anthony Paul, she left due to illness. She was very dedicated to prayer and her Roman Catholic faith was her life. Rose is survived by her brother Anthony (Carol) Ruggeri of Boca Raton, FL; niece of Sarah Maiorana and Mary D'Amico; also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Camille Scirto.
There will be no prior visitation. Prayers will be offered Monday at 9:30 AM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM to be celebrated in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum. Donations to Sisters of St. Mary Namur, 241 Lafayette Ave., Buffalo, NY 14213 would be appreciated by the family.

<h3>Services</h3>
Prayers will be offered Monday at 9:30 AM in the Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM to be celebrated in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.
<h3>Interment</h3>
Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum.
