To Itzie's Family-- Very sorry to learn of her passing. We were at Lockport High together-- maybe First Presbyterian Church? Though I lost track of her, I always remember her smile and her personable, caring nature. My deepest sympathies to you from our recent new home in New Mexico.

Dear Family of Elizabeth "Itzie" Richardson - Kwan,
May each of you be comforted in knowing Itzie's thoughts were about you , would you be okay, her Family's well-being was always on her mind. She spoke about you often and how over the years she assisted Mother in taking care of her siblings. Itzie is now at peace, rest and safely secured in the hands of her Father, Jehovah.
It was about 33 years ago as I was shopping at Burlington's in the Rainbow Mall in Niagara Falls, that Itzie approached me and asked are you one of Jehovah's Witnesses? I said- Yes, I am. She told me how excited she was to be attending her first Convention of JW's the next day at the Convention Center. To which we just hugged each other and said we would look to see each other the next day at the convention. Unfortunately I didn't get to see Itzie again until several years later at the Assembly Hall in Henrietta.
She actually brought along with her my Aunt Eula Carter. I was so thrilled to see and spend some time talking to them both and we then were able to visit at each yearly Convention and Assembly thereafter.
This story well conveys how Sweet and Outgoing Itzie was. She left a lasting impression on me, I loved her from that day. Then three and half years ago I heard that Timmy Kwan who attends the same Kingdom Hall as I do was getting married to a Sister in Lockport named Elizabeth. Who is this Elizabeth I inquired??? It wasn't until I was visiting with some mutual friends of Itzie's and I in Lockport, the Big News was Itzie is getting married to a Brother named Tim. I said OMG! I never knew her name was "Elizabeth" I screamed with JOY! I was so happy for Itzie. Immediately I knew what a loving and wonderful wife and friend she would be to Tim.
What an Honor it was to have Itzie with us in the congregation. She always had such loving and encouraging things to say, making sure she spoke with everyone letting them know how much she appreciated their friendship.
Itzie was always concerned for others. She delivered floral bouquets and plants to just about every Sister and greeting cards to everyone in the Congregation. What an Beautiful example of self-sacrificing love Itzie displayed throughout her life. We all miss her so much. We are looking so forward to our reunion with her in Jehovah's new world where all will be free of sickness and death.
Sincerely,
Beverly Scales and Family

Dear Timmy, We are so very sorry you have lost your Dear Wife Elizabeth. We met her some years back when we came to Lockport Congregation. She was always so friendly, and with a smile on her face. We would spend much time talking on the phone, laughing and reminiscing about the music we loved from the 70's era. She was sooo happy to become Mrs.Kwan, what a beautiful wedding you had. You both were such dear friends. We look forward to Go'in Fish'in in the New World to come! I will always cherish the Mama Bear T-Shirt you two dropped off to me. Your generosity to us is much appreciated, mostly your sincere friendship. We love you now and Forever. May our heavenly Father Strengthen You. Jeff and Brenda Baehr
