Obituary of Joseph C. Rundio
Joseph C. Rundio passed away November 22, 2022 in Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. Born March 25, 1932 in Lockport he was the son of Joseph and Anna (Oakes) Rundio Daunce, and step-son of Leonard Daunce. Joseph was a 1949 graduate of Lockport high school. He went into the US Navy after graduation. He worked for Harrison Radiator Div of GM for 35 years where he was boilerman retiring in 1987. He enjoyed wintering in Florida at Sarasota Lakes, camping, fishing, and dinner out.
Joseph was predeceased by his wife Beverly (Poole) Rundio on December 1, 2021. He is survived by his son Joseph (Sandra) Rundio, Jr.; grandson Joseph L. Rundio and two great grandchildren; sister Mary Ann (late Donald) Cutter; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, Nov. 28th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 29th at 11 AM.
