Obituary of Joseph M. Moran

Joseph M Moran, 81, of Lockport, NY, loving husband and father, passed away suddenly on Monday, 11/21/2022, at Eastern Niagara Hospital.

 

Born July 5, 1941, he was the son of Thomas Moran and Virginia Ferris Moran.  Joe is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Beverly Burdick Moran, children James (Tina) Moran, Jeffrey (Christina) Moran, Julie Moran and Jennifer Moran.  Joe is also survived by his brother, John A Moran, and his sister, Mary Reynolds, and predeceased by his brother, Thomas Moran.  Joe loved spending time with his grandchildren, Joseph (Ellen) Moran, Stephanie (Chad) Herberger, Sean Moran, and Brian Moran, and his great grandchildren, Teddy, Max, and Gunnar Moran, and Julia and Dallas Herberger. 

 

Joe worked at Harrison Radiator for 30 years, and was known in Lockport as a die hard Cleveland Browns fan.  He was an avid bowler, golfer, and both played for and managed the Bus Lines suburban league baseball team.  Joe was a member of All Saints R.C. Church (St. Pat’s), the A.O.H. and was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

 

Visitation will be at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport on Friday, November 25th, from 2pm to 5pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 26th, at 9:00 am, at All Saints R.C. Church, 76 Church St., Lockport.
