Obituary of Lisa Jean Michaelsen
Lisa J. Michaelsen passed away November 19, 2022. Born August 17, 1952 in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of Clyde and Jean (Shepherd) Willis. Lisa earned her associates degree from Niagara County Community College and worked as a registered nurse at Inter-Community Hospital in Newfane and then as an ER nurse at Millard Fillmore Gates Circle in Buffalo. She enjoyed playing guitar, crafts, reading, writing, and also worked part-time for Lockport Union Sun & Journal writing feature articles.
Lisa is survived by: her two daughters Thea (Joel) Harris and Trisha Michaelsen; grandchildren: Jonathon Howes, Courtney Carnes, Nathaniel Harris, Peyton Harris, Lorraine Harris, Dylan Harris, William Harris, Joel Harris II, Amber (Matthew) Sherwin, and, Rachel Young Great grandchildren Mason Carnes and Penelope Howes. Besides her parents Lisa was also predeceased by her sister Leslie Willis Nelaimischkies.
