Obituary of James Baker
James Baker passed away on Saturday November 12, 2022 at Lockport Rehab and Health Care Facility. Born in Lockport on May 7, 1954, he was the son of the late Martin and Verna (Anterline) Baker. James served on the Pioneer Cemetery Board for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clarence, Western New York Gas And Steam Engine Association and International Harvesters Collectors Club Chapter 35. He enjoyed farming, gardening and going to Steam Engine Shows.
James was the brother of Kathleen Baker and the late Jean Leturgey; uncle of Wayne (Darcy) Leturgey, Laurie (Orlando) Martinez and Ondrea (James) Conrad. Great Uncle of Joshua, Adam and Cory (Sierra Resendiz) Leturgey and Alyssa and Darien Conrad and Lilith Leturgey.
There will be no prior visitation. A graveside service will be held on Friday November 18th at 2 PM, at Pioneer Cemetery, Akron, NY. Online Condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
