Norma C. Hofert passed away October 26, 2022 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst. Born April 13, 1935 in Lockport she was the daughter of Holly and Marjorie (McIntyre) Cleveland. In her younger years Norma worked for her family’s business, Mac’s Market in Lockport, later worked for many years at Bell’s Grocery Store on Rochester Road. She also owned and operated Cambria Collectibles Flea Market on rt.104. Norma was a member of Warren Corners United Methodist Church. She was known for her sweet smile, true kindness and her immense love for her family. She was loved by all who knew her.

Norma was predeceased by her husband, Donald Hofert on October 24, 2021. She is survived by her sons Duane (Patricia Crawshaw) Hofert and Douglas (Donna Baron) Hofert; grandchildren Elisha Hofert, Shawna (Greg)Bancroft, and Derrick (Samantha Curry)Hofert, also six great grandchildren; one great-great grandson and brother Donald (Sharon) Cleveland.

In honor of her giving nature the family requests in lieu of flowers donations to a charitable organization appreciated.

Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service Sunday, Oct. 30th at 2 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Grave side service at Hartland Cemetery on Monday. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
