Obituary of Maxine Kudel
Maxine M. (Smith) Kudel passed away October 24, 2022 in Niagara Hospice House. Born November 2, 1953 in Sayre, PA she was the daughter of the late Max O. Smith and Bernice (Gallup) Smith Tinder, and step-daughter of Stanley Tinder. Maxine worked for Dr. Robert Wilson, where she was a medical assistant. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, and also wintering in Florida.
Maxine is survived by her husband Charles D. Kudel; daughters Jill (John) LaQuatra and Jamie (Kyle) Achtyl; grandchildren Charlie and Cooper LaQuatra, Jenna and Kaylee Achtyl; siblings MaryLou (Al) Barrett, Tamura (Jeff) Stratton, and Timothy (Celene) Tinder; also several nieces and nephews. Also, her beloved grand-dogs Layla and Murphy.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, Oct. 28th from 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 29th at 10:30 AM. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
